Pelele – Orquesta Típica Pedro Maffia

¿Cómo va? Pasó un tiempo desde la última desgrabación, ¿no? Bueno, obviamente esto no es un regreso a la cancha, es simplemente un regalo para las Fiestas de final de 2025.
Pelele es un tema muy bonito, con solos de cello que trasladé a un violín en la cuarta cuerda, una variación peludita y otras gracias.
La grabación que van a encontrar en las plataformas está en Si Mayor / Si Menor, pero por cuestiones prácticas varias (la tonalidad hinchabolas, notas fuera de registro por ser para cello) decidí transportarla medio tono, a Do Mayor / Do Menor. Yo sé que muchos lo van a agradecer.
De cualquier manera, si alguien se la juega a utilizar la versión en la tonalidad original, chífleme que se lo mando.
Por otra parte… Ahora transcribo en MuseScore. La encuesta fue categórica: Dorico me encanta, pero considerando los pocos beneficios que les merece a ustedes que yo comparta sus archivos originales, tiene más sentido el cambio. Si bien todavía estoy crudo como para generar un flujo de trabajo ágil como el que tenía antes, creo que MuseScore es el futuro en muchos aspectos. Y funciona en Linux, que también es el futuro 😉
Los archivos de notación originales solo estarán a la venta de manera individual y en la colección de Maffia, por lo menos hasta que vuelva a las andanzas y merezca habilitar más categorías pagas con acceso.

How’s it going? It’s been a while since the last transcription, right? Well, obviously this isn’t a comeback to the field, it’s simply a gift for the 2025 end-of-year holidays.
«Pelele» is a very beautiful piece, with cello solos that I transferred to a violin on the fourth string, a difficult variation, and some interesting stuff. The recording you’ll find on the platforms is in B Major / B Minor, but for various practical reasons (the annoying key, notes out of range because it was for cello) I decided to transpose it half a step, to C Major / C Minor. I know many will appreciate that. Anyway, if anyone dares to use the version in the original key, whistle at me and I’ll send it to you.
On another note… I now transcribe in MuseScore. The poll was categorical: I love Dorico, but considering the few benefits it offers you for me to share its original files, the switch makes more sense. Although I’m still raw at generating a workflow as agile as the one I had before, I think MuseScore is the future in many aspects. And it works on Linux, which is also the future 😉 The original notation files will only be available for individual purchase and in the Maffia collection, at least until I return to the grind and deserve to enable more paid categories with access.
